My name is Michael Fenton, and I portray animals, pets and people in pencil, charcoal and pastels. They make great, special presents and are not beyond a modest budget starting at just £150. Have a look at some of my work on the pictures page.

Commissions

I am based in Norfolk and if you would like to visit my studio, have a portrait of your mother, father, niece, grandchild, pet or one of your favourite animals please contact me. Here's a few options to think about when ordering a portrait:

Decide on a size
1. 39 x 30 cms charcoal/pastel drawings are around £150, or 60 x 39 cms charcoal/pastel pictures are around £250, coloured pastel and also pencil drawings are more expensive because they take longer.

2. Would you prefer a full body picture, or just the head? Would you like to include a background?

3. Are you able to supply photos or would you prefer me to take them?
It's possible for you to email or post your photos to me. You may want to do this to begin with, before ordering, so that I can advise you on a suitable photo for the finished portrait.

4. Would you like more than one person or animal together?
It's possible to commission a group study of two or more subjects together, but you will need to order a larger size for there to be sufficient space for them all.

5. Do you have a deadline for when you would like to receive the work?
